My name is Mariya and I live in the magnificent city Saint Petersburg where I graduated in one of the urban universities and became one of those people who is the fortunate possessor of liberal education. Owing to the fact that over 5 productive, absorbing and impressive years that seems to have flown by at a velocity of light I was studying the world politics and international relations and everything else as well, I am called 'political scientist'. Regrettably in my enormous country this speciality rings rather odd for many ears and its sense remains obscure. I really don't know for the above reason or other but the matter is that now I'm not working in my field perhaps with the exception of the language utilization (Spanish, English, Korean in the not always diligent process of learning). To be more precise I work in a service company that represents numerous insurance companies abroad, where I'm responsible for Hispanic region.

My life is full of the perfect, delightful surrounding world contemplation. My yoga lessons help me to do it in full measure.
As for my other preferences... swimming, total immersion in reading, music (especially classical, especially straight from the piano keyboard), cinemas produced by gifted directors(enthusiastic about films by Tarkovsky), theatres, philharmonics, art, languages, travelling, architecture, history, people.

Therefore I find pleasure in collecting postcards and stamps that reflect something characterizing your area, something peculiar to your place.
For instance,
* local nature, the sights or views of your town (streets, roads, buildings, architectural ensembles, common houses, interiors of the illustrious sights, etc.)
* people in national costumes or just local people
* members of the royal or imperial families
* vintage or black&white cards
* books
* spicery
* typewriters
* Atelier Nouvelles Images
* Charlie Chaplin
* ink pens, brushes
* boats, trams, trains
You could look through my favourite postcards as well (maybe you have something similar to them).

I prefer the postcards with one view (NOT MULTIPLE), that's why if it's possible send me such cards.

Tell me about yourself, your favourite books, movies, cookery recipes or about postcard. It would be very pleasant if you will write some words in your mother language (with translation). =)
