I am Siarhei, a guy from Minsk, Belarus 🇧🇾.
My hobbies are snowboarding 🏂, bicycling 🚴 and astronomy 🔭. I'm also trying myself in longboarding 🛹, DIY 🛠️, photography 📷 and vector design 📐. I'm a big fan of Star Wars and science fiction in general (you know, all that lasers stuff and cryosleep journeys). I like cyberpunk aesthetics as well. Josan Gonzalez, (http://www.robocity16.com) is one of my favorite artists (so, his postcards, if there are any, are welcome). And, you've guessed, I'm fond of electronic music, like drum and bass, IDM, house and synthwave. 🤖 👾 👽
I'm also eager to know more about different countries, their culture and people. It can be some funny facts, stats and misc (like meters of pasta eaten per capita or shoe size of any of your kings / queens). The more weird and exceptional — the better! If you can send me a postcard about some unusual (frightening and shocking are ok too) folk customs, rites and traditions, please do! Any city legends? Yes, please!
If there are any offbeat places near you (like graffiti tunnels or best kebab in the city) please tell me about them. I like functionalism and brutalist architecture (especially Yugoslavian "spomenik"s), so if you have some photos... Who knows, maybe one day I'll check some of those places myself.
I'm trying to learn Serbian 🇷🇸, so if you know it — please, write a few words (in latin or cyrillic). I would be glad to receive a postcard in Chroatian 🇭🇷, Bosnian 🇧🇦, Montenegrin 🇲🇪 or any other Balkanian dialect as well. Hvala puno!
One more thing: I'd like to know how to say "I don't speak <your native language>"… in your native language (unless you speak Belarusian, English or Russian). So that once I'll be in your county I can look like a local (or at least to pretend)!
I hope this can be helpful for you when choosing a postcard, but don't spend much time on it - I'll be glad to receive any.
Thanks for reading to this point and may the Force be with you!
