I love to read (mystery, suspense, & contemporary romance) & create snail mail. Both have been hobbies of mine since I was a little girl. I often have 2 or more books going at the same time. I have one very dear friend that I regularly send snail mail. I'm very excited about finding this site & look forward to sending/receiving postcards!!

I am a mom of 2 wonderful children. I have one boy & one girl. My daughter shares my love of sending/receiving snail mail I'm so happy to share that with her. My son is on the autism spectrum & one really cool dude.

I have lived in Virginia most of my life with the exception of 10 years in North Carolina. I live about 20 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. For that I feel very fortunate. I find my city to be pretty boring but there are lots on neat things in nearby cities. I'm only about 2 hours from my state's capital & about 4 hours from my nation's capital! There are many cultural things to see & do near me - museums, festivals at the oceanfront, amusement parks (I love roller coasters), etc. I would love to travel the world but that's on hold at least until my kids are grown & on their own. I'm hoping to see the world thru postcards.

I like all kinds of postcards but I especially like ones of:
- local attractions, landmarks, & landscapes (whatever it is that makes your city or country unique)
- Charlie Brown & the Peanuts gang
- animals - otters, cats, & giraffes are my favorites
- Daffodils & daisies
-"special needs" & autism awareness!!!
- food (all kinds of food), sweets (cupcakes, ice cream, & donuts oh my!)
- tea, & coffee (even though I gave up drinking coffee over 2 years ago).
- anything pink & Orange
- matryoshka dolls
- anything from Russia (I have always been fascinated with Russia & hope to visit one day)

Homemade postcards are welcome. I will be very happy with all postcards received. Opening my mailbox to a postcard from you will be like opening gifts on Christmas. It will be even more special if you include a quick note!
