Hi Postcrossers!

My name is Maaike, I am 30 years old and I live in a town close to Utrecht with my husband Coen, and soon a little baby boy! I'm a lab-geek, doing research on cancer and metabolism.

One of my biggest (and most expensive) hobbies is to go to concerts and music festivals. My favorite festival so far is Sziget festival, one island, a few hundred thousand people, sun, beer and lots and lots of music. Could anybody wish for more? My all time favorite band is Muse, but I also love Tool, Jack White, Nothing but Thieves, Tame Impala, Arctic Monkeys, and well I could go on forever about this!

Next to this I have a few more addictions, like reading Stephen King novels, cuddling with my cat Neo, watching movies (if you know a good movie I should watch, let me know!) doing puzzles and playing games.
