Hello! I’m born and bred in Perth, Western Australia and live near the coast with my husband and cat.
My interests are many but mostly creative. Anything to do with books, paper and stationery makes me happy, I write, paint, journal, urban sketch and do macrame. I’ve loved stationery since childhood and I have a beloved fountain pen and ink collection as well as many other collections!

I studied cultural heritage at university with an architecture and art history specialisation and am very much a history person. Although I no longer work in the field it’s still a passion of mine, especially art history, and the history of fashion and culture.

I’m also very interested in the metaphysical and unknown- do you have any experiences of unexplained phenomena you’d like to share? I would love to know!! I grew up in a seemingly haunted house so am always curious about strange occurrences :)

I also have a love of perfume and fragrance, and have a rather large ‘library’ of perfumes as well as my one of books. I would love to know if you wear perfume, or what perfume you love or hate, or a perfume that brings back memories. As well as being an artform, to me it’s another link to memory and the past, which always interests me.

I love colour, music, travel, cooking, and being in nature. The world is far too interesting to stay in one place but I also love to return home. I usually choose places with interesting history, strong culture and good food! and like to bring home arts and crafts traditional to places and support the continuation of traditional arts.

I love all postcards and whatever you have is appreciated. I especially like to learn a little about you and your life if you’d like to share.

If you have many postcards and would like some suggestions, I love illustrated and artistic cards, anything painted, drawn sketched etc regardless of the subject.

I like maps, and old postcards especially pre 1980s. I enjoy artistic photography more so than typical tourist cards but I do like tourist cards especially if the image is dateable with people, cars etc.
I’m also happy to receive ad cards especially if it’s advertising products, and more so if those products are perfume or fashion :)
I like postcards from box sets, and also anything that is unique to your town, city or country, especially animals but anything is good.

Also, I love maxicards and stamps. I love the tiny artworks and if you have a variety I am happy to give them a new home. I don’t chop old postcards up to remove them because I believe in conserving today’s objects as tomorrow’s history.

Feel free also to draw and decorate, but please, I’d prefer if you don’t write on the image side of the card, and please no folded cards.
