About Cheryl...

Hello, fellow citizens of the world--
Thank you to all the Postcrossers who have sent messages of support and encouragement during these terrible political times in the USA. Our current president grows more outrageous and dangerous each day, and we can only hope our national nightmare comes to an end soon.

I am a retired university professor living in Idaho with two cats and two parakeets. One of my hobbies is making "art" and other useful things from salvaged materials. See examples at: http://encoreglass.blogspot.com
My big project last summer was building a greenhouse in my garden, using old wood-framed windows and other salvaged building materials.

Are you a fan of Agatha Christie, the mystery writer? If so, you'll find my tribute blog with over 300 annotated quotes from her books at: http://allagatha.blogspot.com

The online version of a book I wrote about my city is posted at http://walkingpocatello.blogspot.com.
Photos taken on my walks around town are at http://pocatellobackside.blogspot.com

A few years ago, I was honored to host Postcrossing's Little Mail Carriers. Read about their visit to Idaho here: https://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2014/02/07/the-little-mail-carriers-in-pocatello-idaho

I like colorful postcards (tourist views, art reprints, almost anything).
The postcards on my "favourites" wall are ones I do not have yet, but whatever you send will be most welcome.

Happy Postcrossing!

P.S. The postcards I send are postmarked "Salt Lake City, Utah" because our local postal sorting center is now closed. My postcards travel about 265 kilometres before they officially begin their journey to you.
