About Helen...

Hello, Postcrossers! My name is Helen and I've been living in the town of Grodno (Republic of Belarus) all my life and I love my hometown!
Belarus is a country in the heart of Europe and is called a blue-eyed country :) because we have thousands of lakes.

I'm a programmer. I like photography and traveling (including my own country). I have already been to 9 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany. My dream is to have this list as long as possible. I love little kittens and cats, but I can't keep them at home, because I'm allergic. I like fishing, cycling, reading, going to the theatre and watching movies with a deep sense which make me think about my life. I like driving my car. I like being on the road and I like speed.

I'll be glad to get any cards from you :) But if you don't know which card to choose, I'll be especially glad to get cards with:

- cats
- flowers
- your city / country views, including night views
- castles / churches / historic places or other unique architecture of your country (I would prefer old architecture to modern)
- beautiful landscapes of your country
- sunsets and sunrises
- animals / birds of your country
- sweet romantic and nice cards
- benches, bridges, lanterns, stairs, alleys
- happy postcrossing cards
- Christmas cards (in December and January)
- X-files postcards, especially pictures of David Duchovny :)
- handmade cards are also welcome, because I love making them too.

Anyway, any beautiful cards are most welcome! ;)

If you don't know what to write on the card, then you may write some words about yourself, your city or country, how you spent your day or describe the things depicted in the card.

Please note the date on your card.

Have a nice day! Happy Postcrossing!

Drodzy przyjaciele z Polski! Możecie pisać do mnie po polsku - bęndzie to dla mnie bardzo pszyjemne, bo estem polka i uwielbiam ten język.

Wow! I'm back! Over the past few years I’ve changed residence 6 times. I have a son now. I have a country house with a lovely garden near Grodno and I’ve set my mind on planting lots of flowers there. I'm happy to get back to sending and receiving cards.
