------- About me -------

My name is María and I am 30 years old! I am shy, but also a friendly and funny person from Granada, a beautiful city in South Spain. i am a Primary teacher in Madrid. I've had other jobs before though, aupair, translator, ... And weirdo ones like taking care of mummies in a museum or butterflies in a butterfly farm.

I have an adopted cat, a Russian blue, called Gandalf. He is the love of my life really and he thinks he is a parrot and loves to be on my shoulders. And then, there is Luca. I found him hurt and grubby under my car a year ago. It was not my intention to keep him but he was and is so adorable that my family and I couldn't resist. Now he is a very happy dog.

Nowadays, I am struggling with mental health issues. I have depression, PTSD and social anxiety, so I am not working at the moment and Postcrossing is my only way to connect with the world.

I lived in Bham (UK) for a year and I travelled a lot around Britain. I've also visited Portugal, Ireland or Belgium. I like to wander around the cities, visit the monuments and libraries, enjoy a good coffee and buy at least one book and several postcards for me and my love ones.

------- Interests -------

Well... I love reading! From HP (proud Gryffindor!), LOTR , GOT (Stark), Fables (Bill Willingham) to all kind of novels really. 'The Shadow of the wind', 'The perks of being a wallflower' or 'The book's thief' are among my favourites ones. Recently, I've entered in the manga universe. I also enjoy watching TV-shows. Any recommendation (book, movie or tv-show) is more than welcome ;)

Apart from that, I like playing videogames (ZELDA, Super Mario 3), doing jigsaws... And LEGOs! I work a lot on my inner child hahaha

Please, keep in mind that any kind of postcard is more than welcome and will be a joy to receive it in my mailbox. But if you need any ideas, here are some:

I would love to see your cities through your postcards, any landscapes, buildings or libraries and bookshops *----*. I love animals as well, owls and cats especially. Also, I am a bit of a nerd, so you can get more ideas from my interests :)

I love the front but even more the back of the postcard, so tell me things about what's on the front, your country, how are you feeling right now, a secret you're holding, something about yourself...Oh and if you would like to teach me something in your language - translation included - it would be great too! :D
