Hi, I'm Melissa!

I'm a librarian. I live on Long Island about an hour away from New York City. I have beaches all around me, they're one of my favorite places to be. I absolutely love being outside, either relaxing or hiking and exploring new places.

I love greyhounds, farms and goats. I love anything with faeries, witches, and magic. A lot of my reading revolves around magic realism and the like. I have a tattoo of a mermaid reading a book on my hip.

I'm a sucker for fandoms! Studio Ghibli, Disney, Avatar the Last Airbender, Harry Potter, Outlander, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars...

Some of my main hobbies include reading, baking, blogging, bullet journaling, and pen paling. I'm a super crafty person, I run craft programs at my library too. I consider myself a creater. I love to make things, whether that be my latest pen pal letter, a pretty flyer at my job promoting a program, working on content for my blog, or making new designs for my etsy shops WithLoveMelissaShop and WithLoveMelissaPrint.

Favorites... favorite color: green, favorite food (right now): pizza and anything with chocolate and peanut butter, favorite movie: About Time (with Rachel McAdams), favorite band: Imagine Dragons.

I studied abroad in Madagascar for a summer while I was in college, it was the best experience of my life. I love animals, especially primates. I double majored in English and Anthropology in college. I often go to the Bronx Zoo to take pictures of the Gorillas and Lemurs there.

I have a lot of other places in Europe that I would like to travel to in the future including Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Mann and Isle of Skye, England, France, and Italy.
