About Lisa...

Update - February 2014:

Hi,

I haven't been active on here for quite a while due to financial limitations (I lost my job and postage is expensive here - we also don't have that special postcard rate that you seem to have in other countries) but now I'm back in business :) Just in case you were wondering about the low number of postcards.

Hi everyone,

My name is Lisa, I'm 34 and originally a librarian. I also live alone with my two cats, so the stereotype is complete ;)

I discovered Postcrossing through a penpal (thank you, Laura!) and love the idea of exchanging postcards with people from all over the world.

I will be happy with any postcard that I receive. I have seen so many amazing ones on other people's profiles that I could never even have imagined existed so I wouldn't want to set any limitations.

However, should you have any of the following, I would be extra thrilled :)

- Your favourite author (if so, please write the reason why on the card :))
- Frida Kahlo
- Anything book-related
- Anything letter-related
- Food from your country
- Yoko Tsuno
- Douwe Dabbert
- Art
- Elephants
- Funny cats

Also, should you be into mail art, I would love a handmade card! :)

I guess actually the only cards I would prefer not to receive are flag cards and ad-cards.

Do please write something on the card :) I would love to hear about your favourite author (why and favourite book; I love recommendations), your favourite quote, your favourite dish from your country or anything else that you would like to write about.

Also, if possible, please don't send the card in an envelope. I love receiving cards with stamps and postmarks on them that have that travelled feeling.

Happy postcrossing! :)
