I am a happily retired Gov't worker. with a hubby, 8 birds and a 4 year old little dog who is part "Energizer Bunny" . Please have a good look at my avatar - that is Sammy on the outside of the cage and my Christmas Cactus on the inside.... All my houseplants are protected with cages because my birds fly free during the day and they think my plants are a salad bar! I love fabric postcards . quilting knitting and smocking. Life makes me happy - I spend a fortune on seed for the wild bird feeders, and love watching them. I walk miles with my dog everyday. I have just discovered Geocaching, so my dog and I now go walking with a treasure to find.

"Coronation Street" is one of my addictions. I have been hooked on it for over 30 years.... if there is a postcard with any of the characters on it, I would be especially happy! I am happy with any type of postcard EXCEPT religous or "Adult" type cards! would also prefer NOT to receive free advert cards I love nature and I collect anything with dragonflies on it.If possible, cards showing the native dress of your country would really be appreciated... being a fabric nut this interests me !

I really get upset with rude people, and that includes people who cannot say just a simple thankyou for a card I send. I do try and find a suitable card for everyone I send to and to be ignored is like a slap.

Please - NO envelopes - I enjoy the stamps as much as the cards!I have a great interest in receiving Kaj Stenvall or Inge Look cards - I love the ducks! Fall is my favorite season, but I love the sound of snow crunching under your feet. I love waterfalls and brightly colored birds. Chocolate is my second favorite food - the first would have to be dark chocolate ! My sewing room is my special place - where I dream and create and continually try to clean up - but am easily distracted by a new project or idea... sooo much fabric - so little time! I look forward to receiving a card from you...I love snailmail!
