Hi,

I just decided to compose a new profile since I haven't updated for awhile. So, what would I like to tell you about me. Firstly, where I live: Wilmington, North Carolina, a beautiful historic city along the coast. The downtown area has an attractive riverfront with a variety of restaurants and numerous shops. There are several beaches, each with it's own "vibe". It is a growing area with many transplants moving here for the milder climate. We rarely have snow. The summers are definitely high humidity but that's only 3 months out of the year. It is loosing some of the charm due to population growth.

My degree is in Art History but I also took a variety of studio classes...loved them all. My favorite artist is Georgia O'Keefe. I treated myself to a visit to her museum and saw where she lived near Santa Fe: a trip of a lifetime.

Just moved to a duplex with no outside maintenance. It is brand new and super nice. I feel fortunate, however moving here without my Hubby was hard. He succumbed to a 4 year cancer battle

I have to say that getting postcards has cheered me up many a day. There are so many kind, caring, interesting, sharing people all over the world. My life has been brightened by this terrific hobby called post crossing. Send me any card you like and tell me why you like it. This is my 12th year....amazing!!!!

I enjoy discovering new artists and purchasing their work. Unfortunately, my wall space is about filled.
