Hello Postcrossers!

After a period of severe illness which caused my PC account to go inactive, I am very excited to be back writing again! [Old penfriends: do get back in touch, should you wish]

As a Linguistics student, I have great interest in colloquial language and would love to hear an idiom/ proverb from your mother tongue. I am an avid reader and want to expand my horizons, so please do recommend me a book/poem from your country. Let me know why you think I should read it (perhaps it is underappreciated, or is revolutionary in your opinion).

I am trying to collect ‘smiles’: tell me something that made you smile recently.

I am open to any postcards, although I particularly treasure literary, language, unusual, or LGBTQ-themed cards. Anything personal, like a homemade postcard or something from your own writings (such as a poem), is something I hold very dear.

Open to one-off letters or direct swaps.
