let me introduce myself!
My name is Elena and I'm from Russia. I live in Nizhny Novgorod. I love animals, especially cats, sea, travel, writing letters to friends, and many other wonderful things. For example, I love to walk the streets of the city with a camera and take pictures. They say, I'm doing it pretty good, but I would like to photograph better. I know I'm just an Amateur. :)
I would be happy to receive postcards with views of cities in which you live, (especially welcome cityscapes of Prague, Paris or Istanbul (there is no difference, you live in these cities or not) :-)).
My favorite season is autumn. Autumn for me is a time of romance. I love postcards dedicated to autumn, and I will be glad to receive them.
I like the cards in pin-up style, especially plump Hilda, Duane Bryers. Postcards depicting vintage clothing, fashion, elegant ladies in vintage toilets are also welcome. And I would like to receive postcards depicting people in national costumes also.
I like the drawings of Cicely Mary Barker fairies of flowers, and I'll be happy to get such a card or in a similar style.
I cannot call myself a great connoisseur of art, but I am attracted to painting the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. I love the works of pre-Raphaelite painters and the art Nouveau style (I adore Alphonse Mucha's drawings). I also like postcards depicting traditional Chinese and Japanese painting.
I work in a hospital, and I think it would be interesting for me to get a postcard on a medical topic, including medical humor.
It may seem strange to you, but I like to watch football. :)) So I will be glad to receive postcards related to football topics (players, stadiums, symbolism).
Oh Yes! :) I collect figurines of cats and would be happy to receive postcards with picture of cats too. And if it will be with a picture of the Siamese, I'll just be happy :)
Recently, I've come to love attending postcrossing meetups, so postcrossing meetup cards are welcome also!
