About Olga...
Hi everyone!!!
My name is Olga and I am from Minsk, Belarus. Minsk is the capital of my country. It is a clean, cozy and friendly city, but sometimes it seems too quiet and even boring for me, so I am fond of traveling and exploring other countries very much!
Also I am fond of sewing and clothes design and of course postcrossing. I think it is very interesting and exciting to receive postcards with little messages from all over the world!
I will be happy to receive any postcard you will send to me, but I especially like postcards with:
- the peculiarities of your country(some well-known or unusual sights, events, festivals);
- people's faces, their emotions, some touching moments from everyday life ;
- Barbie ( as a child I used to collect cards with Barbie and now it will be great to receive Barbie postcards from different countries ) ;
- cartoons, comics, fairy tales (Disney characters, characters from soviet cartoons, Harry Potter);
- postcards with wise, funny, stupid or weird words and statements, surprise me, make me laugh or think;
- sea, ocean (we have a lot of rivers and lakes in Belarus, but neither sea nor ocean, every summer I go to the seaside, because I like sea and the feeling of freedom that it gives to me, and I often miss it);
- winter sports (I love winter and all kinds of winter sports: skating, skiing, snowboarding, sledging), winter holidays (Christmas and New Year)- you can send them all around the year, it will be even more pleasant to receive a winter postcard in the middle of summer:) ;
- vegetarian food, bright fruits, berries and vegetables (I am a vegetarian);
- black-and-white, retro postcards ;
- art (Impressionists or famous artists of your country) ;
- rock bands, that are popular in your country ;
In general, I like anything unusual that stands out of the box, gives me food for thought and goose bumps!
Please write me some amusing facts about your country, recommend me some places to visit,books to read or music to listen to. You can write your favorite quotation, I like reading, so it will be very interesting for me.
If you are from a German-speaking country, please, write me in German. I would like to practice my skills in that language!
