I am the oldest of 4 girls, and remained the oldest when my parents remarried. I gained 2 step-sisters and 2 step-brothers.

My husband, Cowboy, and I married June 17, 1994. We have a 25 year old son, a 23 year old daughter who stays busy with a 2 year old son and a 1 year old daughter, and we adopted our foster baby boy who was 8 months old when he came to live with us. He is now 8 and will begin homeschool for 2020.

I learned of Postcrossing in the art of pen pal letter exchange. Since we will be a homeschool family, I wanted to introduce this art to our son. It is always exciting to get anything in the mail that is not a bill. I have always loved any type of postcard, except erotic. They are my snapshot to the world through your eyes. I look forward to hearing from many people and getting to know the world around me a little piece at a time. My favorite cards would be beautiful buildings, birds, butterflies, sunsets, landscapes or Princess Dianna. Our son's nickname is Sassy. He plays a lot of Fortnite.

We are owned by 3 dogs (Amber and Jersey Sunshine are girls and Max is a boy); 6 male cats (Bagheera, Powder, Bullseye, Meanie, Tobie & Twinkie), 4 female cats (Baby Grey, Eanie, Miney & Dusty) and 5 kittens. I love watching the various birds that come to the feeders outside my living room window.

I love chocolate, Werther's Original caramel candies and eating at the Japanese Steakhouse. I was super excited when we got a Kobe here in Sylva. The owner is from Vietnam. She is a wonderful lady.

I am so excited to have found this website, as I love meeting others from around the world. I have numerous penpals.
