About Vicki...

Hi;) This is "Ar-cho" (my nickname "grass" is Cantonese). I like traveling. That's also why I started collecting postcards - souvenir of every trip i had! I also enjoy listening to songs of foreign languages.

I took a 2-year break from exchanging postcards as there was one point where I found too overwhelming to organize hundreds of cards, and I had to scale down my postcard collections. I'm restarting postcrossing because I miss sending and receiving postcards! But to keep my collections small and focus, appreciate if you could send me anything that would fit in the followings:

-Indigenous people / people in traditional costume (esp. children!)
-Unique local celebrations / traditions / experience (e.g. Japanese matsuri, Turkish bath, but NO generic events like concert / movie festival please)
-Scenic panoramic size cards
-Machu Picchu
-Standing stones (e.g. Stonehenge)
-Handmade card covered with used postal stamps
-Japanese Prefecture Gotochi
-Wakamatsu Kaori
-Bart Simpson
-Icons of Countries series sent from corresponding location
-Official Greeting from... series sent from corresponding location (already have: AU, AT, BB, BW, BR, BY, CA, CH, CL, CN, CZ, DE, DK, EE, ES, FI, FR, GB, GR, HU, ID, IL, IT, JP, KR, LT, LU, MY, NL, NO, PH, PL, PT, RU, SG, SI, SE, TH, TR, TW, UA, US; expecting: BM)
Written & stamped please. Standard size card (4" x 6") is preferred with exception of Gotochi and panoramic card.

If you don't have any of the above themes, would you please send me a card:
-Written & stamped, showing the signature view, local food specialties, maps, etc. of your location / from your vacation (NO celebrities please). Please share something about the place in the card.
or
-Blank in envelope, nice card of any themes (e.g. animals, illustration) that I could reuse and share with others (please pick nice quality card that you would receive yourself).

I like the written side of a postcard as much as the photo side. Love long messages, nice stamps and decorations:) Some topics I really enjoy reading are:
-Your favorite local, native-language singer (Please include a link to your favourite song if possible)
-If I am visiting your place someday, what places & food would you recommend?
-What's your impression on Hong Kong?
-What's your postcard collections? Why do you collect those specific cards? How do you organize and store your postcards?
And please don't forget to date your card!

Thanks for reading till the end LOL. Happy postcrossing;)
