Hi, I’m Laura, I'm 32 years old and I live in north east England. I live with my husband and our two beautiful little girls aged 6 and 3.

I love reading and I welcome recommendations on my next book to read! I love most genres, not too keen on "chick-lit" or science fiction but I never rule anything out so please feel free to tell me your favourite books.

I love history and studied modern history at university and would like to learn more about significant historical places from all over the world. I enjoy learning about new cultures and traditions that communities have so please feel free to share.

I love to travel (wish I had more time and money to do so!) and my list of places to visit grows everyday. I'd like to hear more about your favourite places you've visited and the reasons why.
