Mother of two grown sons, and I am a brand new first time Grandmother. Yahoo! My grandchild is perfection of course.
Love wildlife, dogs, domestic birds, whales, turtles and octopus, and the ocean. Also like reading and quilting, painting and drawing. I live in a very rural area, surrounded by nature and what remains of our dairy farms. For many years I was a director of a Humane Society for homeless dogs and cats. Then at the grand age of 53 I returned to school and earned my LPN certification, and was a nurse in long-term care facilities for 10 years. Along with the quilts I make for my family I occasionally make ones for the new mothers at a local hospital.I am very interested in Native American Culture. I mentioned reading above - especially like mysteries and books that touch my soul.

I love animals - land and sea - postcards. Also like cultural, cities outside of the USA, and would like to collect the "vintage" or "Big Letter" type of state cards for all states in the USA.
Also enjoy Lighthouse postcards. Really I enjoy all of the cards I have received so far. I am computer challenged so still trying to figure out the favorite and postcard wall. But continue to love the cards I am receiving. Thank you all!!
