I am an older lady, but not old fashioned! I love nature, children, animals (special fondness for cats, draft horses and hummingbirds), arts, music, gardening, ecology, photography, good books (I especially love audiobooks that allow me to listen as I busy myself with daily manual tasks) and I am curious about life in general. I just retired from a fruitful career as a medical herbalist and biodynamic herb grower. My farm was well known and appreciated. We grew and transformed hundreds of different curative and culinary plants. I am a published author and photographer in my field of expertise and have created a correspondence herbalist course that has helped teach many young traditional herbalists who wish to provide care to their family and friends, in a safe and natural way. I still live in the country in the hills, where my farm once was and I enjoy my life tremendously. I will receive any kind of tasteful postcards that the senders find interesting, as it will tell me something about them and not only cater to my own taste. Homemade is welcome as it involves creative abilities which I value greatly.
