About Olga...

Hello! I’m Olga from Siberia. I have a husband and a little daughter. We are engineers at petrochemical company. I am a metrologist, he is a system control engineer. I like to read non-fiction books, watch documentary, listen to rock and country music. I wish to visit Germany and learn the language. My husband builds our house himself, does all this blueprints work and construction. I am in charge of decoration. Our daughter was born in july 2018. She likes splashing, dancing and playing a doctor.

What is your favorite movie that is shot in your country?

I am here to discover new cultures, so please tell me a little about you, your country. You can send to me any card you want. But maybe you have some of this:
+ machines, mechanisms, industry,
+ measuring instruments, clock, timers, scales, rulers, callipers, gauges, standards, all about metrology,
+ world leaders, monarchs, national heroes, artists, people in work,
+ historical and modern reportage or documentary photos,
+ uniform,
+ pictures from books and cartoons for my daughter, but please specify the title so we can find it.

I collect cards with alphabet to show my daughter how different the world is.

thank you so much!

Быть может, у вас в шкафу хранятся советские видовые открытки городов, поздравительные открытки и другие тематические советские открытки (пионерия, космос, дружба народов и т.д.) я буду рада их получить

I can be your penpal if you wish :)

Do you know about maxicards? It’s very interesting thing. A maximum card is a postcard with a postage stamp placed on the picture side of the card where the stamp and card match or are in maximum similarity. The cancellation or postmark is usually related to the image on the front of the card and the stamp. Now I have 5, it’s my small collection ;)
