About Olga...

Hi! My name is Olga. I’m 33. I live in Minsk, Belarus. I’m a doctor, a surgeon. I like listening to music, reading books, meet with friend or even spend evenings on sofa watching a good movie or TV series.

My friends told me about postcrossing, and I like this idea very much - to get cards from all the world from strangers, random persons, and to send they somebody, imaging this person by his or her description.

I really appreciate next cards:
- funny, unusual, exotic cards
- about cartoons and comics
- night sky with stars, planets (I like to watch on night sky and dream about anything)
- chocolate (I’m keen on sweet)
- traditional/national dishes (with or without recipes)
- cards in retro style (past times attract me)
- kids
- black-and-white cards, sepia photos
- old ladies by Inge Löök
- girls pin-up
- nouvelles images
- coca-cola
- Maximum Cards
- paints of famous artists
I’d like you to write something about yourself, such way each card will get it’s own story. Or what do you know about Belarus.

Please do not send ads and handmade cards. And please don’t send me views cards if its’ possible - I hope there are a lot of people who will see the true value of them.

I had an idea to make the "world" blanket. It would be great if those postcrossers who can knit or crochet, send me a piece of 10-10 cm if it is not possible to make one yourself, or ask your mother sisther or friend to do for you. And I would be happy to have a blanket, parts of which are collected from all over the world. Do not forget to write your name and address on the envelope so it's nice to know what part of what country, and who did what. I look forward to your patch for "world" quilt.

P.S. For a very long time I did not send postcards and did not receive them. I decided to resume my hobby now, because I had a son, he is already 2 years old and I'm trying to tell him that there are so many different countries where very different people live. And it seems to me with a clear example in the form of postcards it will be easier for him to understand this. Therefore, when you choose what to send to me, remember that I will be with a small child to wait for a postcard and look in the mailbox.
