Hi, my name is Katherine, I just graduated from university with a major in accounting and a minor in communication studies. I like to read, knit, listen to podcasts, and binge watch TV shows on Netflix. I have also taken several years of French language, and am very interested in all things French!
You're more than welcome to send me a holiday card of whatever you celebrate during this time of year, folded cards are OK.
I would be extra happy with a card for my collections:
-Olympics (Pyeong Chang or others)
-puzzles! Where's Waldo, visual puzzles, etc
-The New Yorker
-space themed cards (astronauts, rockets, planets, stars, etc)
-nautical cards (ships, anchors, shells, lighthouses, marine animals, etc)
-"Le Petit Prince"
-Alice in Wonderland
-fairytales (please no Disney)
-vegetarian or vegan recipe cards (new!)
If you'd like, you can take a look at the cards I already have in the collections! https://www.flickr.com/photos/119174467@N08/sets/
Some other types of postcards I like:
-animals native to your area
-landscapes, particularly mountains
-Leonid Afremov paintings
-all things French
-all things John Green
-humor, if it's something you think a 22 year old woman would enjoy
I am newly legally allowed to drink alcohol in my country, so favorite drink recipes are welcome on the front or back of the card!
If your card has 5 digits or less (your country has sent less than 100,000 cards) I'd really like a touristic view of your country. I'll like any card you send me, but it is disappointing to receive from a rarer country with an image that could be from anywhere.
All the cards on my favorites wall are cards I have not received but would like to. Feel free to use it as inspiration :) You can find more of my favorites here https://www.flickr.com/photos/119174467@N08/favorites :)
Czech friends: I would especially like a postcard with Rumcajs, Krtek, Kremilek a Vochomurka, Makova panenka, and similar. Also, I visited Prague last year and fell in love with it, so viewcards from Prague (or even another city you think I should visit!) would also be appreciated!
As for what to write on the postcards:
- What has been the most beautiful moment in your life?
- What's the place where your heart is?
- What is the most important thing you've learned in your life?
- Tell me about the best trip you ever took
- What are you afraid of?
- What is your favorite quotation?
- Tell me about your hobbies, pets, favorite foods, etc
I would love your homemade cards, as long as they are of the quality you would like to receive :)
