Hi postcrossing friends,

Sending a card to a total stranger gives me a glimpse of joy. Wondering what the card will bring the receiver. And receiving a card from you makes me happy. I really love to find my mailbox filled with happy, coloured, full written cards.

To help you a little, a bit about me... I love to read. Almost every genre. Most favourite fantasy (Robin Hobb, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman), History, Biography, Literature. I also love arts. Paintings, sculptures, photography (like Vincent van Gogh, Dali, Caspar David Friedrich, Erwin Olaf).

I enjoy listening to music. My favorite bands are: Lacrimosa, Haggard, Epica and Therion. But I also enjoy listening classical music (Bach, Beethoven, Satie). And music made for a 'scotch and a cigar' (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Leonard Cohen, De Dijk, Bram Vermeulen).

I love animals. I have two cats and a fish. Quite a happy zoo.

One of my more secret interests are cars. Most of all Mercedes Benz. I grew up with those 'automobiles' and I can't get them out of my system. But my favourite form of travelling is public transportation. (Okay, I'm a bit of an idiot. But I love the short interactions with total strangers).
