Hi my name is Kathryn! I am an American teaching English in Japan through the JET Programme. I'm living in the south of Ishikawa Prefecture on the west coast. Ishikawa Prefecture is rich with cultural heritage, nature, and outdoor exploration. This is my third time to Japan and I'm excited to explore my local area and travel around Japan more!
I love baking, reading, videogames, and of course postcards. Bread is my favorite thing to bake, and if I haven't already I will be getting a bread maker when I'm in Japan. My favorite animals are beavers because my favorite stuffed animal is one.
I would love any and all postcards, and envelopes are welcome if it suits you! If you want some inspiration for what to send:
-baking / food
-scenery (cities, nature, etc., whatever; doesn't need to be a photo either)
-your country (iconic landmarks, cultural topics, etc.)
but all postcards are welcome!
Please keep the content and images PG appropriate. I am not in Japan yet as of updating my profile (7/7/22), so I don't know if this will be something that I can eventually share with my students.
So so so excited to postcard hunt in Japan and share my experiences here! Happy Postcrossing :D
