About Kirsten...

Hello! I'm Kirsten, a 23 year old Dutchie who lives in the south of the Netherlands. I love adventure. I was a backpacker for 2 years in Australia and hope to start travelling again as soon as I can. I would really like to visit Asia and New Zealand, but for now I'll stick to Europe.

I absolutely love travelling and meeting people from all over the world.
It would be great if you could tell me a little about yourself, your daily life, your customs or culture. Feel free to send me anything you like, whatever is on your mind. Maybe explain to me why i should visit your country (and where). The more you write on the card, the happier I'll be!

I like pretty much any postcard or message, but if you need any ideas: send me something about your country, your favourite place or just a card you really like yourself.
I don't mind envelopes or folded cards either. If you happen to have tourist folders from your area I would love to receive them! I really enjoy checking them out.

Also, I like learning little phrases, words or short sentences in other languages, so feel free to include something in your card.

I check my mailbox every day and I'm really looking forward to receiving your postcard!

P.S. I can read and understand German perfectly, but will be replying in English since i still struggle a bit with writing.

My bucketlist:
- drive the Gibb River Road in Australia
- watch the Northern Lights
- walk the Balkan Trail
- kayaking in Norway
- go husky sledding
- roadtrip/hiking in Iceland
- transsiberia express
- roadtrip through Namibia

Other things i like:
- the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss
- Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit
- The Discworld Novels by Terry Pratchett
- Skiing
- History
- Mountains (too bad I live in the Netherlands)
