Hello, I'm Nikita!

I’m a 30 year old Yorkshire lass who’s a happy person as well as quirky and creative! I love making things, especially sewing. A lot of what I know I’ve self taught myself but I just love turning a piece of fabric into something cute and special!

I have my own blog where I write about mental health related topics, mainly OCD as I am also a lead volunteer for OCD Action which I am very proud of. I aim to help others with their mental health and general wellbeing. We all need happiness in the world. :-)

I love anything unusual, cute and unique. I love reading books - mainly romance, thriller and mental health ones! I also love interior design and purchase home magazines to get lots of inspiration for my home!

I have a little doggy he's a Yorkshire Terrier called Billy - he is very characteristic! He is 15 now but still acts very young at heart and I love him to pieces!

My town is in East Yorkshire and is only quite small but I find it a lovely place especially the old town where they filmed Dad's Army. Within the same old town I have my own little shop called Sissy and One, where I sell lots of handmade items, quirky pieces, homeware, gifts and stationery. I like to run craft workshops in my shop and at the moment I am loving anything junk journal related!

I'm honestly not fussed with whatever postcard you wish to send me, I have no preferences so you can send me anything you like as I am just excited to get a little piece of your world sent to me!
