Hi

I am a 42 year old housewife
Married for 25 years. I have 2 children both boys all grown up and a 3 year old grandson
I like to read (stephen king and dean koonts)some of my favourite writers, also like to do needlework like knitting and crocheting cross stitch and tapestry all of which I have learned to do in these later years of life, I am keen on gardening although I have a lot to learn abouts plants
I like to collect little things like fridge magnets of the places I go to and of course I love teddy bears
being at home alone most of the time I like to watch discovery channels on tv, really enjoy the shows on nature and animals also enjoy the home channels like to try some of the tips and ideas they give to make your home pretty and if I can use what I have even better its fun doing home DIY
I live in a small minning community known as Elandsridge my husband is a shiftboss on the mine, the mines name is Kusasalethu it is part of the Harmony Gold minning group
The closest towns that have shops are fochville and carletonville if we want to visit a mall we go to Potchefstroom,
Krugersdorp
I don't mind living in this small village as we have a small privately owened game farm so I am lucky that early morning and evening we see a lot of animals such as sable antelope, wildebeest, springbuck, kudu, letswe, giraffe and lots of birds, just no lions and things like that,
when sending me a postcard please will you write a few words in your home language I think it will make the postcard even more special to receive

Its wonderful to think of a community like postcrossing, the internet and cellphones have made the world a smaller place everything and everyone is just the push of a button away but to receive and send a post card with a message on you wrote by hand is something very special
