Hello, everyone, I'm looking forward to getting your POST CARD. I like scenic postcards from anywhere & everywhere. Someday I'd like to have a couple from each of the 50 states, but any card is welcome.
That said, I collect touristy type post cards showing something of natural or historical interest in countries and cities. The name of your country or city on the front of the card is most appreciated. Something like mountains, rivers, lakes, even deserts is very nice; or maybe a card that pictures historical sites, markers or statues, buildings, churches, bridges or fountains.
Please, don't put your card in an envelope because I like to have the stamp and postage mark with the card. Thank you!
I DO NOT collect stamps, so special stamps are not necessary.
And, if I may suggest this, please, put your ID number on the top left of the card because the US Postal System prints routing information across the bottom of the card. Thank you so much!
About me: I'm retired after working for many years in support of mentally disabled adults in a residential facility. It was hard but very rewarding work. Now I enjoy crocheting and quilting, reading (mostly non-fiction and history), and my flower and vegetable garden. For companionship I have my church and family nearby and a crazy cockatiel named Charlie and a recently rescued Pomeranian mix I call Sugar.
