Hello PostCrossers,

My name is Katharine and I am currently residing in the state of Minnesota. I’ve lived here since March of 2023, to be closer to family, and hope to call this my forever home after having moved several times within the past few years. While I don’t have a significant other or any children at this time I do have a 3 year old domestic long haired cat named Boots who is my whole world. I adopted him in Idaho from a pet store who named him as a result of his unique appearance - four white legs with black spots on the back to represent the “soles.”

In order to make a living in these crazy times I currently work two jobs which unfortunately take up a lot of my time. I am a Project Manager in the mornings handling payments between customers and their suppliers and a Supervisor at a grocery store in the evenings. It’s quite a handful but when I’m not working I enjoy getting outside and exploring, shopping, doing crafts and spending quality time with friends and family. While that is only a few things, the list could most certainly keep going!

My favorite postcards are those that are handwritten, watercolored, hand drawn, vintage, or those of your country/region/culture. However, I encourage you to take your imagination wherever you'd like and send me something special. Please take note that I will NOT accept inappropriate cards or cards that enforce a particular behavior/choice - these will be reported to PostCrossing.

If you could, please include:
*The temperature and date of when you wrote the postcard
*Rare, unusual, or stamps local to you
*Teach me a word or phrase in your language (with translation to English)
*Tell me something special about where you live, what the weather is like, any events happening near you, etc.
*Tell me about yourself and what you’re up to this time of year.

If you’re also inclined, I would absolutely love it if you would send newspaper clippings, brochures, photos, recipes, etc of things that are local to where you’re located. I would love to get a glimpse into your state/country! I don’t mind the postcards being sent in envelopes.

Additionally, I love connecting with each and every one of you so if you feel inclined to be pen pals via social media or email please let me know so we can set something up.
