About Katerina...

Hi everyone!
My name's Katerina. I'm originally from Belarus but since October 2012 I was living in Moscow. In July 2023 I moved to Germany.
I'm a very energetic, kind and friendly person. I like reading very much. I can't imagine my life without books! I'm fond of learning languages. At the moment I'm learning German, so you are welcome to write in German to me (preferably in a neat handwriting, so I could recognize new words).
Apart from literature and learning languages history is among my highest interests.

For me postcrossing is not just an exchange of postcards. For me it's something like spreading of kindness all over the world and it brings me so much joy!

There are some types of cards I would like to receive:
- African cards (I really love African culture!)
- Handmade cards
- Historical cards
- Human Rights
- Politics, political cartoons/caricatures
- Cards which make you think
- Bugart (https://bugart.co.uk - just wow!)

Besides a postcard, it's very important to me what you write on the other side of it. I like reading a letter from a person who lives so far from me and has an absolutely different life. Please tell me about yourself or some interesting story that happened in your life.
As a matter of interest, I would be glad if you could share some thoughts about politic climate in your country.

My birthday is on the 4th of May, so around this time I'd like to receive birthday cards. It's so cool when people from different parts of the world congratulate you =). And around Christmas time I'd like to receive Christmas cards.

I'll be very thankful if you put some little thing in an envelope. it can be a bus/museum/cinema ticket, a coin, a tea bag (I love tea very much!!!), a pen, a pencil or anything else.

When I was 6 I happened to be in Germany for a short while where I saw such incredible so called floaty pens with something floating inside. For a girl coming from USSR it seemed like a miracle and I still cherish those memories. Unfortunately, I've never seen such pens again. So if you happen to see, by any chance, one of these pens I would really appreciate if you could pass one to me. I can't describe how much joy it would bring me.

When you’re sending the card please put the date on it.

Thank you in advance!
