Receive postcards

About Sandro...

Hi all,

I'm Sandro, a portuguese guy living in Scotland since March 2015, a country with really nice people, beautiful places to visit, amazing landscapes and a great offer of cultural events .

But as I am from Portugal, I've bought many postcards there (more than 200, actually) and I want to continue sending postcards of my country from here as it's the one I really know well and although I see myself living here for many years, I will always be Portuguese!

I keep my Parents address in Postcrossing. My mother will carefully receive your cards and keep them in my room. She will scan them so don't worry, I will register them the day they arrive!!

Although I came from a small village near Leiria, I've moved to Lisbon when I was 17 to study Maths at the University and I've stayed there until March of 2015, when I've moved to Edinburgh.

I enjoy cooking, tasting new food (from other countries, for example), listening to music from every part of this world, meeting friends and travelling!
I've been to 23 countries: Portugal, UK (Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England), France, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Iceland, Greece and Italy, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.

Some of the cities I have been to:

I'm completely crazy about sushi, Geocaching, Eurovision Song Contest and snow (and I'm finally living in a place where I can see snow!!) and, of course, Postcrossing!

My favourite types of postcards:
animals (cats,dogs,rabbits,...)
landscapes (sunset/sunrise/rivers,...)
monuments/important buildings
typical food
city single views
night view
main streets
typical transports
funny things/humour
Well... I prefer something about your country and/or your city/village (please don't send me postcards of views from other country). Something you really like or beautiful art cards are really welcome too.
I'm not a huge fan of multiview cards.
:) But.. it's up to you what to send me, try to surprise me! :)
You can also check my favourites (I already have some of them - please check my received list)

I'd like also to read something written on the postcard. Some ideas about you can write there:
- you can describe the postcard
- you can talk a little bit about you/your place/your country
- you can tell me what do you know about Portugal and if you have ever been to Portugal (and in Scotland)
- you can tell me or facebook/skype so I can add you and share more things than what a postcard allows to write

I really love listening to music from every part of this planet. I'd love if you suggest me singers/bands/songs from your country.

If you're from Germany, Austria or if you have german as native language I'd love to read some lines (or the intire postcard) in german as I'm studying the language!

Thank you and Happy Postcrossing!!
