I am an occupational therapist and had my own private peadiatric practice for 12 years. I love and do art eg pottery, painting, jewellery, mosaic, neddlework, designing. Love travelling, reading, people, nature, especially our outstretched Karoo plains and mountains and sea.

We have a citrus farm in a beautiful valley called the Gamtoos, part of a big, nature conservation area, the Baviaans Nature Reserve.

I grew up in the countryside, learning to love animals and nature's elements, gardening and starry nights. I laugh often and enjoy listening to stories! I have a little budgie called Muffin. He talks and plays soccer, dances to music and generally just entertains us with his wit and liveliness.

My motto in life is: Live every day as if it was to be your last! Enjoy the moment while it lasts.
