Hello, I have lived in Pennsylvania my whole life. I live with my husband Ken, a plumber, who I also work for and my adorable 6 year old at dog Gertrude (a pit-lab mix). We have two adult children. I love to travel, but w since my husband is self-employed it is hard to get away quite as much these days. Plus, of course COVID, but I enjoy postcrossing as a virtual travelling experience! I have been to many Caribbean Islands, Mexico and Canada as an adult. I have been to most of the east coast states along the east coast of the U.S. as well as Alabama, Ohio,Colorado, California and HAWAII!!! (Which, is really like another country altogether!) When I was a child, I visited London, Paris and the Madeira Islands and Bermuda. My husband's grandparents emigrated to the U.S.A in the 1930's. They were from Willendorf,Germany. (near Strausberg) I am quite sure he still has many family members in that area (Rau-Bauerle)-on the slight chance anyone knows anybody. I did see a picture of a big old farmhouse they once lived in. We hope to visit one day. My last trips were to to the Jersey shore, and Isla Mujueres, Mexico-we traveled with my daughter and her boyfriend. Up next: Europe when the vaccine is available. I would love to see any postcards of different places .In no particular order I enjoy.
