Hi there,

the world has become smaller by modern technology. Let's widen it a bit by using old-fashioned postcards. It just feels good when there's more in your letterbox than invoices and commercial mails.

My interests - far too many to pursue them all, but mostly
- history
- architecture
- UNESCO world heritage sites (I've been to a few)
- travelling and languages.
Oh, and cooking (and baking), of course. I'm always interested in new recipes, tastes or wild food combinations. The fat I put on as a result of the fact that someone has to eat the stuff I produce I try to get rid of by hiking in the mountains. But somehow it seems that two weeks out of a year's fifty-two don't burn a lot of fat...
I also love books and could spend a fortune on them if I had the money - but thanks to God, some nice person invented the public library.

I hope to get some nice postcards - I'll try my best to return the favour! I do appreciate nice stamps, too. If you collect stamps and want some from Germany - maybe we could exchange some. Just ask.
