About June...

Hi! I'm a journalist and longtime letter writer who loves living in California and exploring the wonderful boutiques, cafes and architecture of San Francisco.

I enjoy hiking, walking, traveling, gardening (flowers and vegetables), sewing, cooking and reading everything from Dickens and Tolstoy to popular contemporary novels. I look forward to hearing from you about your home, your hobbies, your family and your culture.

I'd love postcards of Victorian buildings and scenes, elegant hats, paper dolls, Shiba Inu dogs, female authors and writers, native garb/costume, embroidery/handiwork, fashion, synagogues/Jewish life around the world, flowers and gardening, art by Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt and the pre-Raphaelites, and whatever you think would be fun to receive.

If you have postcards showing Russian historical sites, famous historical figures and authors/poets or monuments, I'd be very grateful. Please save your cards depicting churches, Easter, Christmas, etc. for Postcrossers who like to receive those.

I also have a small collection of Kateryna Biletina cards showing traditional Russian/Ukrainian dress. And I'm a big Hello Kitty fan, so Hello Kitty cards, stickers and washi tape are always welcome in my mailbox!

When I receive a card, I register it within 24 hours, so if you have been kind enough to send me a card and I have not registered it, you will know for sure that it never made its way to me. ;(

Thanks so much, and happy Postcrossing!
