I am a former New Yorker living in Paris, France with my young family. I am interested in world culture, music, art and dance and have a particular soft spot for old family recipes as I love to cook. I also enjoy experimenting with cocktail recipes and discovering new wines.

I do a lot of reading (everything from blogs to biographies) and I have recently gotten into sewing. In an ideal world my children's closet would be full of beautiful handmade clothes. In reality I've only gotten around to making a couple of tunics & dresses. I like to make things in general but never find the time to complete all of the projects on my to do list... but that's life, right?

I love hand drawn illustrations, vintage photography, postcards depicting your city's landscape, witty quotes and anything odd/quirky but any type of postcard you chose is fine.

I'd love for you to share a recipe: food, drink, homemade remedy for sickness or even a homemade concoction used for cleaning the house. You can tell me a bit about where you live or what your daily life is like or even share a poem, song or quote that you've found inspiring.
