Hello dear fellow Postcrossers,

In the summer of 2011, I read about Postcrossing in a magazine.
I wrote my first card in August of that year, and since then I am addicted! Postcrossing is my window to the world, I learn a lot from it! It makes me happy to receive cards, but also to find just that one particular card someone likes to get.

I was born in Leiden, in the western part The Netherlands and moved to Leeuwarden (in the northern part of NL) in 2006.
I live here with my husband and our children (27, 24, 19 y.o.)
Besides reading (Nicci French, Robert Galbraith, Isabel Allende, Donna Tartt, Khaled Hosseini, Benedict Wells, and Dutch authors like Connie Palmen, Murat Isik, Anya Niewierra, Arnon Grunberg) I love writing, and crafting. I collect all kinds of stationery, paper stuff, washi tape, stickers et cetera.

I am a big fan of BBC First where the best British series are broadcasted such as: Undercover, Thirteen, The Durrells, CB Strike, Call the Midwife, Dr. Foster, Broken, Deep water, Life, Peaky blinders and many more. I don't know if there are postcards available of these series, but if you have one: I will be extremely happy 🌞

I am happy with every card that I receive, but if you can find one with images of these subjects I will be even more happy:

✺ fairytales or fairylike illustrations
✺ Gorjuss, Limoon
✺ angels
✺ mermaids
✺ art (from your country or by artists you want to tell me about)

✺ vintage, black/white or sepia photos
✺ spiritual or religious photos/paintings (Virgin Mary, Reiki symbols, Wicca, tarot)
✺ the moon, planets
✺ colourful food/spices
✺ tango, flamenco, ballet
✺ hot air balloons
✺ seahorses (photo or drawing), jellyfishes
✺ ravens, owls (drawings as well as photos)
✺ botanical drawings (especially antique ones)
✺ zoology
✺ old maps
✺ libraries, books, famous writers or poets
✺ patterns and fabrics (e.g. William Morris)

And of course you can check my favourites for inspiration! When a card in my fav list is not sent to me, then it's meant as a wish.
I have a request: please write more on the card than just ''I hope you like the card" or "Happy Postcrossing". If it is difficult for you to write in English, write in your own language and I will try to find out what you wrote.

And I love nice (if possible matching) stamps, stickers, washi tape et cetera.
