Hello! Nice to meet you here on Postcrossing!! My name is Joke and I live in Oud-Beijerland, The Netherlands. Oud-Beijerland is a village about 30 km south of Rotterdam.
I am married and I have 2 kids. A daughter (24) and a son (21). My hobby's: scrapbooking and making cards, photography. I like to listen to all kind of music and also love to watch tv and movies.
I very much like to receive postcards from the country/city/village you live in.I haven't traveled much and don't know if I ever will, so YOUR postcard will transport me to your country or town.

If possible I'd be really happy if your card shows also the name of country/region/city on front.

I love:

Molletje (Krtek) >> Znenek Miller)

vintage cards,

city views,

landscapes,

mapcards (USA States map cards too please!!!)

Cowboys and Indians!!

lighthouses,

old buildings etc. UNESCO

Seasonal cards: Christmas, New Year, Easter, Valentine, Halloween;

Your National Flag

KEEP CALM CARDS :-)

Or look at my favorites so you get an idea of what kind of postcards I like.

But what I like the most is receiving a postcard FROM YOU!! I would appreciate if there was more text on the postcards than just your name and the words 'Happy Postcrossing'!

Please write sending date on your card! and how's the weather like on sending date.

DEAR POSTCROSSER: Consideration!

"If you are going to send me a postcard, please consider: This may be the first (and perhaps the only) view on your country, that I ever get. What shall I think: That your country is boring and your people don't care? Or that it is beautiful and the people amiable?
I myself spend a lot of money on postcards and I always try to find a card, that I think fits well to the person who is going to receive it. I hope you have the same intention.

HAPPY POSTCROSSING!!

ps:
I like stamps too so if you are from Europe I'll be happy to see a Europe stamp or the stamp of the Stamp Day on the postcard.
If you are not from Europe I'll be very grateful if you use a stamp of famous person, animal or place or a stamp of an important event.
Thank you in advance.
