Hello, world!

My name is Julia, I live in the capital of Belarus - Minsk. Belarus is a country in the heart of Europe. I've recently graduated from the linguistic university as a translator/ interpreter. Now I do some translation because I really like to play with words (let us say, I'm a word engineer =)) And I've just started my career in an IT company EPAM Systems.

Moreover, I'm happy to be part of the International Short Film Festival "Cinema Perpetuum Mobile" http://filmfest.by/en/ If you're somehow related to cinema (make it or watch it - and love it!) feel free to join our project!

I like rock'n'roll, Jack Kerouac and meditation.

I am happy to receive any card, but I am especially interested in postcards with the following themes (in random order):

- outer SPACE (stars, galaxies, nebulae, constellations)
- anything related to CINEMA
- Nouvelles Images
- flamenco
- ornaments
- Buddhism, Hinduism
- native american indians
- jazz
- lavender
- illustrations from old flora and fauna books
- Star Wars
- trains
- historic events
- black-and-white, vintage cards
- your native city views, something authentic from your country
- aurora borealis, ships, lighthouses
- comic book characters (especially the Watchmen)
- whiskey, wine, beer... something alcoholic (by the way, I would be glad to receive a beer mat instead of/along with the postcard!)

It would be nice if you share with me your favourite song, a book, a film or a quote that impressed you most of all. It´s really important for me because we exist separately, but in unison.
