About Joan...

I am a retired teacher and school librarian. I continue to volunteer in classes. I would like scenic postcards or ones that picture famous people or landmarks in your country. Indiginous people, native animals and plants would also be great. I also am interested in UNESCO sites. (See the list at http://whc.unesco.org/en/list.) I love interesting stamps as much as the postcards. Besides my personal interests, I will continue to share these cards with students and my own grandchildren to help them learn geography. My interests include children's and young adult literature, most kinds of music, and art. I look forward to meeting people all over the world. I am an animal lover and share my home with cats and dogs.
Received October 30, 2010 card from the Atomium in Brussels. The card is written in Russian and the sender's name is Meeka or Mika. There isn't any ID number. Please contact me so that I may register it.

Please contact me if you feel that I should have received a card from you. I make every effort to register a card on the day that I receive it. Thank you.
