We live in Livingston Montana USA. Just north of Yellowstone National Park. We love to travel, eat and cook amazing food, but we all do...right?
About Montana (We live in a postcard)
Montana has been referred to as “The Last Best Place” because of its unforgiving terrain, vast open space, and raw beauty. We have some of the most amazing wildlife found anywhere in the world: mountain lions, bears, moose, elk, rattlesnakes, bobcats, bison and more! It puts the fact that humans are just neighbors to these creatures into real prospective. It’s not uncommon to find deer in your backyard or signs of bears that were just passing through.
Not to be biased, but Montana has the prettiest mountains and they’re all around us! Peaceful, raw, immaculate beauty, in which their geology tells the story of the Earth’s creation. Surrounding Bozeman are the Gallatin Mountains, the Crazy Mountains, the Tobacco Root Mountains, and the Bridger Mountains. Their ecosystems support this great state by providing water, wildlife refuge, and endless recreation activities including skiing and hiking. It is by far the number one reason that I love Montana.
There is just something about Montana that makes you feel at home. You’re free and when you see the sun setting behind the mountains, we take a breath and realize how lucky we are to live in such a wonderful place.
Postcards we like...all of them.
