I was born in England but moved to America at the age of 14 months old. When I was 9 years old my mom and I, and my brother and sister went back to England for a year to visit family, and also traveled a little in Ireland and Scotland, while my father stayed in the US to continue working. We came back to America on the original Queen Mary Ocean Liner in 1960 a few years before it was retired and turned into a museum, what wonderful memories of the grand old ship. I am married and have 3 children, and 2 step children, all grown. I also have 8 grandchildren. I love gardening, sewing, crocheting, crafts of all kinds, scrapbooking, researching my family history on Ancestry.com, creating boards on the website "Pinterest," reading (real books), hummingbirds, animals, (I currently have 2 cats, a dog, and a pet water turtle, and an aquarium of fish.) Before our recent move to Florida I had 5 pet chickens in a beautiful little coop, each was a different breed and gave me different colored eggs. I also do artwork, I used to draw pen and ink and watercolor pet portraits. I also love interior design especially English Country, French Country and Plantation style decorating. I went to Interior Design School for a year, but had to drop out when my husband got drafted for the Vietnam War and I had to move to an army base, I started having children, and as life goes, I never had a chance to go back to school. I love the beautiful Antebellum Plantation homes in the southern part of America. I'm fascinated by old buildings and their history, also antique furniture. Think if walls and furniture could talk the things they could tell you about the past!! I love Victorian era postcards, cards of birds from around the world, especially hummingbirds. Anything old and vintage. Old clocks, flowers, scenes from around the world, and postcards depicting England. I would also love to get postcards from the 1960's and the 1930's. I also love;
