I am a writer and communications manager. I live in West Hollywood California and enjoy hiking in the local mountains as well as the Mojave Desert and Sierra Nevada. My wife and I enjoy taking long walks in the city as well as in the nearby hills.

Of course, I also enjoy sending and receiving postcards, especially vintage ones or those that depict intriguing subject matter--unusual historic locations, national parks, natural phenomena, Hollywood actors and actresses, famous writers, geologic features (volcanoes, craters, canyons), historic photographs, old buildings, architecture, and popular culture. I especially enjoy postcards from the golden age of travel--ones that are based on tourism or, alternatively, ones that are unintentionally ironic or atypical.
