About Tom...

Hello there! Ware are a 30-something married couple and just moved to out first home in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Julie is a lawyer and Tom is a math/social studies teacher. We have 2 wonderful cats. We are absolutely in love with our rescue dog, Finn, who we adopted in May 2018. We are both huge Harry Potter fans.

We hope everyone is staying safe during Corona Virus. Tell us how it is changing/impacting your life or your thoughts on the situation.

Julie: Interested in reading, traveling, cooking, knitting, and music. Send me good book suggestions! I'm a huge animal lover of all kinds, especially big cats, hippos, elephants, and otters. Vegetarian. Orchestra and Aerosmith lover. Museum fan. Love nature walks with my dog. I knitted the dog a prize-winning Halloween costume (he was a dinosaur). British tv mega fan (poldark, midsomer murders, morse/lewis, happy valley, broadchurch, foyle's war, father ted, coupling, waiting for god), especially detective dramas. Podcast fan. I am also a huge cooking show fan, especially Chopped and Great British Bakeoff.

Tom: ultimate frisbee, a good drink with friends, board games,
Some online games, trivia and puzzles (crosswords and sudoku), being outside, fan of Game of Thrones and Arrested Development, reading (Catch 22 and a Hitchkhikers Guide to the Galaxy).

Send us any kind of postcard you like, but tell us why you chose it. We especially love postcards with art and that show something about where you live (special sites, food, traditional dress, crafts, music, daily life, etc). Please also feel free to send postcards showing colorful scenes and objects, or something whimsical.

**Please no postcards of pets (cats, dogs), we already received a ton.**

We'd also really appreciate if you wrote more than just “Happy Postcrossing” on your postcard. Some ideas for you to write about are:
- Hobbies you may have
- About the place you live
- Art/music/sports you like
- Your family
- Something you're looking forward to.
- A book recommendation
- A recipe you love
- A favorite random/interesting fact
- Photos, quotes, and drawings are also great!
