About Julia...
I enjoy reading (sci-fi, fantasy, and fanfiction/Harry Potter), writing (fiction), collecting things (like postcards and coins/foreign and local), and surfing the net. I am more than happy to accept letters in addition to postcards, but I'll only send postcards, unless you wish to keep corresponding. I'd enjoy postcards of any sort, but I'd especially like ones with notes written in other languages and/or of your location or someplace close by you.
I have the Women in Science box set as well as a National Parks set that I got through Walmart. I prefer cards sent to me over blank cards I have collected, so if you have any of these I would appreciate them. If you feel the same, message me and we can do some swaps.

Language: If you speak Dutch you are more than welcome to write in that. I can't read it but my mom is Dutch and she can translate. Oh, and if you can't think of what to write (and you're from somewhere other than an English-speaking country) I would love to learn a word or two of your language. I'm currently using Duolingo to learn Dutch.
Languages: If you like you can also write your postcard entirely in your language and email me (juliablackowicz@gmail.com) a translation. That would be awesome.
For anyone wanting to just trade postcards, I love postcards from anywhere, even the US. Even my own state, South Carolina. I'm not picky. But if you're sending a Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, or Georgetown postcard, please at least use a cute stamp. :) Or tell me a bit about what is going on there.
Pen Pals: I am more than happy to answer any requests made for penpals. If you want me to write back, put a return address on your postcard and I'll be happy to start writing you regularly. I am fascinated with other cultures and as such am also willing to answer any questions about my own culture.
Friendship books, etc.: While I have not participated in one (yet) I am more than willing to. Just let me know what to do and I'd be happy to.
