Hi!
My name is Iaroslav. Please, I want you to notice that the first letter in my name is "i"/"I"(not the "L"). My name is also spelled "Yaroslav" or "Jaroslav" but I prefer to write it according to my official documents.
I live in Samara, one of the biggest cities of the Volga region (and Russia too). It's wonderful to keep in touch with whole world through the Postcrossing!
My favorite subjects for postcards are vintage posters (any kind of them - political, military or social propaganda, educational, medical, vintage commercial etc.).

I will be very thankful for the cards with the pictures about the First World War.
The postcards with pictures of Joseph Christian Leyendecker, Fortunino Matania or Maxfield Parrish will be also very appreciated. Note for Canadians - postcards with Alex Colville's pictures are very welcome.
Postcards with book illustrations or covers will be fine too.

Also, of course, my taste is in my faves.

But postcrossing is for surprises! And I'll be glad to get any cards you'll send (but I want to remark - PLEASE, do not send modern ads or handmade postcards or postcards with multiple views of city).

Привет, меня зовут Ярослав. Я живу в Самаре. Моими любимым видом открыток являются репродукции разных плакатов (с коммерческой (винтаж) или социальной рекламой, политической пропагандой, образовательные плакаты и т.п.). Особенно ценю темы, связанные с Первой мировой войной. Открытки с книжными иллюстрациями или обложками тоже будут с благодарностью приняты (а также открытки с репродукциями картин Джозефа Лейендекера, Фортунино Матаниа или Максфилда Пэрриша). Ну и см. фэйвы.

Однако посткроссинг он на то и посткроссинг, чтобы делать сюрпризы. Буду рад всему, что вы пошлете (но, пожалуй, открытки с современной рекламой, открытки-самоделки, или карточки с коллажами из фотографий какого-нибудь города будут радовать меня чуть меньше).
