Hi, I'm Jane. I live on the Mornington Peninsula, which is around one hour out of Melbourne, Australia. The area boasts some beautiful beaches and coastline, wineries, food producers and more. I grew up in Melbourne though and it's a wonderful city to live (voted World's Most Liveable again!) - such great food, culture, arts and entertainment, green open spaces and yes, coffee! I have a husband and two young children and we've loved making the 'sea change' to the peninsula.

I enjoy podcasts (especially true crime); libraries and museums; going to the ballet; collecting Cornishware china (hence my Avatar!) and hunting for vintage collectables; and anything food related (my hubby is a chef, so that helps!). I also enjoy TV (crime, comedy, documentaries, history, cooking and interior design shows are particular favourites, but also series like Ray Donovan, Dexter, Walking Dead etc). I love singing and music.

I have a fantastic job as a researcher and content developer for Australia Post Philatelic. I research themes and create story ideas for stamp issues, locate visual material for the design process and write about stamp themes for various collector materials.

I love the written word. As a child, I used to love receiving postcards from my often-travelling grandparents, and I still write and send them when on holiday myself. Visually, I love vintage, retro and historical themes (and stamps), but I'll be glad to receive anything, as for me this is about the excitement and connection you feel when discovering messages and stories from individuals around the world.
