My name is Julie and I work in health care in Nova Scotia, Canada. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering with animals! I also love photography. I mostly take photos of natural scenery and, of course, animals :) I am constantly making something, whether a floor mat, candles or decorations out of wine corks! I don't drink wine myself, but I sure do love beer!

I am interested in travel, but have not done any traveling in quite some time. I have been to many States in the USA, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Australia and New Zealand. I spent quite a bit of time in New Zealand finishing up my education as an intern in a clinic in Christchurch. I miss it terribly!! I hope to someday visit Iceland!

I used to collect postcards as a child (and I still have a box full of them!). I was thrilled when I stumbled upon the Postcrossing website! I am very excited to receive postcards showing me different parts of the world. Please tell me a little about yourself, your home and what you do! I am not picky about what type of postcard I receive, surprise me or check out my favourites to see what I like! Edit: if you have a postcard with apples/peanuts/lemons/bees, I'd love it!

I do celebrate Christmas, so Christmas postcards are welcome in November and December :)
