I stared my working life as an operating nurse. Nowadays I work in Information Technology to pay the bills but I love my volunteer work as a guide in a castle and in an animal shelter, consequently we have a lot of cats..
I like almost all cards but I especially like:

-Tourist pictures from where you live, anything from important buildings or sites in your country to your village square
-Urban scenes
-City retro cards
-Futuristic city
-Castles, ruins
-Autumn landscapes, towns
-Crop circles
-Self made cards

If you could write the date and time you are writing the card and a phrase in your language even if I do not speak it that would be most appreciated! If you use an envelope, feel free to add something small like a flyer for a performance in your town, used tickets, newspaper clipping.
If you write your username I can write something more personal in my thank you note.
